Julia on This Time Next Year – A Remarkable Memory Challenge

We were incredibly proud to see our Shichida student Julia featured on the television program This Time Next Year, which aired in September 2019. Julia took on an inspiring memory challenge and demonstrated the remarkable results that can be achieved through consistent practice and encouragement.

What is This Time Next Year?

This Time Next Year is an Australian television program on Channel 9 where participants set a personal goal and return one year later to reveal what they have achieved. The goals often involve learning a new skill, reaching a personal milestone, or overcoming a major challenge.

Participants first share their goal on stage, and then – after a year of dedication and effort – they return to show their results. The program celebrates determination, growth, and the idea that meaningful change is possible within a year.

Julia’s challenge was to significantly improve her memory – an ambitious goal that required commitment, practice, and support.

Julia’s Memory Challenge

Julia set out to improve her memorisation ability within one year. Through regular practice and guidance using Shichida learning techniques, she steadily developed her memory skills.

On the program, Julia demonstrated impressive memorisation ability that amazed both the audience and the host. Her achievement showed that memory is not simply a natural talent – it is a skill that can be developed with the right training and encouragement.

Her journey highlights the importance of consistency and positive parent involvement – key principles of the Shichida Method.

The Power of the Shichida Method

The Shichida Method focuses on developing children’s natural learning abilities during the early years. Through activities such as:

  • Flashcards
  • Image training
  • Memory exercises
  • Parent-child learning
  • Right-brain development activities

children strengthen their concentration, confidence, and learning capacity.

Julia’s progress over one year is a wonderful example of how structured training and encouragement can unlock a child’s potential.

Every Child Has Unlimited Potential

Julia’s achievement reminds us that children are capable of extraordinary growth when given the right environment and support.

At Shichida, we believe that every child has unlimited potential waiting to be developed.

We are extremely proud of Julia and look forward to seeing what she will accomplish in the future.
